Q: Does the size (surface area) of the heater make a difference?
A: ABSOLUTELY. According to the laws of physics or Wein's Law the larger size heaters mean more surface area, resulting in lower surface temperature. The heat is spread out over a larger area. This produces more FAR or LONG wave Far-infrared heat which is more therapeutic for your body.

Q: Can I receive constant heat with a Sunlight Saunas digital controller?
A: ABSOLUTELY. To receive constant Far-infrared heat using your Sunlight Saunas digital controller (panel or remote), simply set the controller to its highest setting. During a 30 to 45 minute session, the heaters will be emitting 100% Far-infrared heat, with no intermittent shut off.

Q: Do I need to be wary about certain Far-infrared sauna companies on the internet?
A: You should always be cautious when making any purchase over the internet, as you never know who or what is "behind the website". Q: Is the warranty on the cabinetry important?
A: ABSOLUTELY. Most other brands give you a 1-year warranty on the wood cabinetry. Remember, your sauna is a hot box! What will you do if the wood warps or cracks due to excess heat over time? Q: What is the optimum Far-infrared frequency for an Far-infrared sauna?
A: The result of Sunlight Saunas™' 624 square inch surface area allows for the lowest surface temperature of any other Far-infrared heater. This means the best performance well within this vital wave range of 7 to 14 microns with a good portion of wavelengths at 9.4--which is the frequency at which a water molecule resonates or vibrates. This vibration causes a release of cellular toxins such as mercury, aluminum, cholesterol and other toxic gases.

Q: I am chemically sensitive. Are some sauna woods more hypoallergenic than other woods?
A: ABSOLUTELY. Other brands will use veneer sheets in place of tongue and groove wood on many parts of the sauna such as the exterior, ceiling, back panel, and floor. When the sauna heats up to 140 degrees, these veneer sheets may off-gas and cause eye irritation as well as other reactions. Q: Is Infrared heat safe? Is it like a microwave or a tanning bed?
A: Infrared heat is completely safe. In fact, it is so safe, hospitals use similar heaters to warm newborns. Infrared heat is part of the very safe bandwidth of light, unlike ultraviolet (tanning beds) or microwaves. To learn more about Far-infrared safety, click here.

Q: Do I need to worry about EMF radiation in an Far-infrared sauna?
A: Not in a Sunlight Saunas™. In fact, we take extra precautions with EMF radiation by coating each wire with steel shielding. A Sunlight Exclusive.

Q: Can I put an Far-infrared sauna outdoors?
A: Most Infrared Saunas are not designed to go outdoors. But because of Sunlight Saunas™' high-pressure binding and precision handcraftsmanship, our sauna cabinetry can endure outdoor humidity and dryness as long as you protect it with our optional waterproof canvas cover.

Q: How is the sauna shipped?
A: With the exception of the "C" model, all of our Armana models arrive in two easy to open boxes on a pallet. To see how easy our saunas assemble, click here. It will be shipped to your front door or garage.

Q: How does your Sauna warranty compare to other brands?
