Your response to our newsletter has been wonderful.
We thank you for your support and hope that you
continue to find value in the information we share
with you. Likewise, should you come across valuable
information that you feel would benefit other
readers - please feel free to pass it along to us.
Last month we bought you news about the toxins
that build up in your body and how regular sauna use
can help detoxify them. This month we focus on
something that many of us go to great lengths
to avoid doing - SWEAT!
How appropriate for Valentines Day.
As odious as it may often seem, sweating is
actually good for you. For regular sauna users, it
is through sweating that our bodies release the
toxins stored in our fatty tissue. And just when
we'd reached the age to truly embrace that old
axiom - Work Smarter Not Harder - we find
that sweating actually makes you smarter!
DOH!?!
Sweating in an infrared sauna does more than
you think - it helps relieve stress, improves
your heart function and much more! Oh, and what
the sauna taketh away, well you have to replenish!
In this issue we answer the age old question "How
much water can I drink before I actually
explode?"
Well, we'll try to answer how much is healthy,
anyway.
You'll also learn why it's important to keep the
clothing (and naturally the towels) that you sweat
on clean! (Hint: it's not just a fresh air
issue.) And finally a little olfactory treat for the
ladies - how your man's hard earned sweat can work
for you!
There you have it, our Valentine's "Heath
Up Your Health" issue on SWEAT!
All the
info with only half the odor, and only from
Soleil
Saunas!
Until next month,
Warmest Regards!

Are you a chronic worrier? Find yourself obsessing
whether your special Valentine will actually be
yours - to the point of distraction?
Just like exercise,
spending time in a far infrared sauna will get your
heart rate pumping, make you break into an
amazing sweat, and help you overcome stressful
circumstances. Don't sweat the small stuff-
sweat the stress away instead!
Or like we say around the office - THE FOUNTAIN
OF
YOUTH IS FULL OF YOUR SWEAT!
Charming...

| Heart Healthy Valentine! |
 |
|
Dry sauna baths help the heart the same way
exercise does, Japanese researchers report. It
seems to help people at risk of heart disease: those
who have high blood pressure or high cholesterol
levels, those with diabetes, or those who smoke. It
also seems to help people who already have heart
problems.
And we can tell you from experience - it's
an amazing tool to keep healthy hearts happy as well!

| Water is Your FRIEND! |

How much water should you drink each day? Water is
crucial to your health. It makes up, on average, 60
percent of your body weight. Every system in your
body depends on water. Think of that - every
system in your body depends on water! Doesn't
that thought just make you want to stand up and
scream "HEY CULLIGAN MAN!" Get the
lowdown on how much you should be drinking up!
[Note - Danny Kaye did an
actual recording of his first trip to a Finnish sauna in
October of 1955 which can be listened to with Real
Player at this location (by the way this is a visit to
an old style HOT sauna - not a far
infrared sauna - very entertaining
nonetheless):

Sadly, neither Mr. Kaye (well, for obvious
reasons)
nor
his descendants would actually endorse this
newsletter or its contents.
Fortunately, however, we have been authorized to
inform you that "The pellet with the poison's
in the vessel with the pestle, the chalice from the
palace has the brew that is true!" We're not
exactly sure what this means, but consider
yourself warned.]

| Dude, What's that Smell? |
 |
|
Could your sweaty workout clothes make you sick?
Leaving gym clothes in the locker until they can walk
home by themselves can be hazardous to your
health! And it really freaks out the neighbors...

What newsletter about SWEAT, especially during the
month of Valentine's Day, would be complete without
this? New research has shown that women who sniff
male underarm secretions feel more relaxed and less
tense.
RRRiiiggghhhttt!
...then again, the ladies pictured above look
pretty calm, given the nature of their
activities.
This is
too easy, so we'll let you insert your own joke
here.

Sweating Makes You Smart! |
|
|
|
Thanks to brain-imaging studies in humans and
neurochemical studies in animals, scientists have
found evidence that exercise actually makes a
stronger brain. For older people in particular, even a
moderate program of exercise can boost brain health
and cognition.
