Fall is in the air, you can smell it!
Sporadic patches of colour dotting the landscape,
pumpkins appearing in doorways and Halloween
decorations and sweets crowding the stores. Yes,
sugar season is upon us. It starts with Thanksgiving
and ends at New Years at which point we all make
resolutions to clean up our act and get "back on the
program".
It is no mystery that November
marks the beginning of cold and flu season. Think
about the virtual attack your immune system is under
when indulging in all those sugary snacks. We don't
stand a chance when exposed to a virus - our bodies
are ripe for the picking.
So what to eat?? What NOT to
eat?? Part of the healthy sauna lifestyle is eating
foods that promote well being. Sure, the saunas can
detoxify your body, but you really need to eat
healthy in order to make it easier for your immune
